AI Isn’t Replacing You. But It Might Replace Who You Used to Be.
Most marketers are panicking. I partnered with the guy who helped build Amazon Alexa... and doubled my agency instead.
Most marketers are toast.
But not all. And definitely not the good ones.
Let me explain.
Most people are scared of AI. I hired it.
Actually, I partnered with it.
Technically, I partnered with the inventor and co-founder of Amazon Alexa. So I’m not just “using tools” like everyone else. I brought the guy who helped build one of the most powerful voice AI tech platforms into my team.
Because while other agencies are shrinking... mine doubled in the last four months.
Why? I pivoted.
We’re not just a marketing agency anymore. We’ve evolved into something way more powerful.
From idea to exit. We help you build the thing, test the thing, grow the thing, then sell the thing.
And we use AI the whole way through.
If this made you think differently, you’ll love The Diaries of an Accidental Millionaire.
But AI is not a shortcut. It’s a tool.
I still have writers. But they’re not copy jockeys. They’re thinkers. Builders.
They don’t just spit out headlines... they know why the headline matters.
I use AI like everyone else. But it’s never a “one and done” prompt.
I tweak. I gut. I mold. I inject strategy. I make it mine.
That’s the part most people miss.
AI isn’t going to fire marketers. It’s just going to fire the bad ones.
If you’re average, AI will outpace you.
If you’re elite, AI will amplify you.
Let’s talk about the panic moment.
Because yes... I had one.
Everything was shifting. The industry felt like quicksand.
And for a second I thought... What now?
Then I did what I always do. I breathed. I pivoted. I got to work.
Now we’re building AI products with one of the top minds in the world.
Real stuff. Not hypothetical. Not trendy. Stuff that’s going to change how businesses run, market, and scale.
And we’re just getting started.
If you’re not pivoting, you’re falling behind.
The reality is, AI is going to take out a majority of agencies. Look at the Q2 results for some of the big holding companies... they're getting crushed. Not because they’re bad. But because they refused to pivot.
I said back in January that SEO was dead. I even wrote an article about it (you can read it here) and warned everyone. That AEO—Answer Engine Optimization—was next.
Now guess what? In the last month alone, over 30 companies have come to me asking for help because their site traffic dropped 40 to 60 percent. Why? Google changed. Again. But this time... for good.
We saw it coming 18 months ago. We pivoted. We rebuilt sites. We rewired content. We optimized for AI-driven search. And now? My clients are showing up exactly where they need to.
Here's the side-by-side:
My client’s site, which we’ve managed for 4+ years? Stable. Climbing. Showing up in AI snapshots. Even with AI we have been able to replace paid traffic with organic traffic.
A new client who just hired me to fix their site. Losing 50k+ organic traffic (this is millions in revenue!).
(P.S. I’ll break all that that you need to do to fix your website in next week’s newsletter) For now, just know this:
Pivot is the name of the game.
And it’s one of the most underdeveloped skills in professional life. No one teaches it. No one talks about it. But if you want to survive—let alone win—in business today, it better be in your toolbox.

One last thing...
Pivoting doesn’t mean throwing everything out.
It means evolving fast enough to stay relevant... and smart enough to stay profitable.
Most people wait until their pipeline dries up. Or their clients ghost. Or their team starts quitting.
By then? It’s too late.
The difference between the businesses growing and the ones dying right now is one word: courage.
Courage to shift gears.
Courage to cut what’s not working.
Courage to admit you don’t know everything... and partner with people who do.
I’m not the smartest person in every room. But I make damn sure I’m in the room with them.
That’s how you win in this next chapter.
So yeah. AI might replace some marketers.
But the ones who know how to pivot?
We’re just getting warmed up.
If you’re pivoting too... let’s talk.
Whether you're building a product, scaling a brand, or gearing up for an exit... you need a partner who can see the whole board.
That’s us.
Product meets marketing. Strategy meets speed.
